This album features original songs by Adrian Younge and Ali Shaheed Muhammad, alongside one of the leading artists of the '70s Black Jazz Records label, Doug Carn. On his ‘70s classic recordings, Carn used the organ and synthesizers to create a new kind of spiritual jazz in collaboration with his then-wife, vocalist Jean Carne. Doug Carn JID005 demonstrates why Carn sits amongst the legends of the spiritual jazz era. All songs produced by Adrian Younge & Ali Shaheed Muhammad.
